On this blog I'm going to talk all about Pain, Tobi, and Sasuke from Naruto Shippuuden which is all from a ton of chapters.
To begin with, Sasuke absorbs Orochimaru so that he can go kill his brother, Itachi. After he escapes, he assembles his team called "Snake" after recruiting Karin, Jugo, and Sugetsu. Meanwhile, Naruto, along with some other guys (too much to name), are looking for Sasuke so that they can take him back to Konaha. Sasuke meets up with Itachi's partner, Kisame, and he tells "Snake" that Itachi is waiting for Sasuke at one of Akatsuki's hideouts. Tobi fights Naruto and his team, only for Naruto to find out that Tobi has control over space/time because all their attacks are going straight through Tobi. Itachi and Sasuke begin their battle with Genjutsu (Illusion), which they tie.

Then they start fighting using Ninjutsu. Itachi uses Amaterasu (something like that), a black fire, that engulfs everything, even fire itself.

Sasuke barely survives, and uses lightning from the heavens to strike Itachi. Itachi uses his final technique, which I forgot, which is a mirror against all attacks. But then Itachi transfers his eye technique, the Mankegyou Sharingan, to Sasuke and dies. Tobi takes Sasuke with him to his hideout to tell him all about Itachi and himself. Tobi is actually Uchiha Madara (an immortal, also the first to unleash Mankegyou Sharingan), one of the first founders of Konaha. He let loose the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox on Konaha, which almost destroyed the village.

Sasuke also found out that Itachi killed all of Uchiha because the elders ordered him to. But Itachi couldn't kill his own brother, so he let him live. Sasuke now wanted to destroy Konaha, but Tobi told him that Itachi wanted to save Konaha.
Pain is Akatsuki's second in command because Tobi (Madara) is actually the one in command. His real name is Nagato, but with his Rinnegan (most powerful eye technique) he is able to control six bodies as his own and the main Pain is Yahiko, Nagato's best friend, who had mysteriously died. Konan is also one of Nagato's friends, who is now currently his partner.

The piercings in all six of the bodies are what Nagato use's as revievers so that he can control them. Jiraiya finds out that all the six path's of pain (the bodies) are people who he had met in the past. He was also the one who trained Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko Ninjutsu and he saved their lives from the war in the Rain Country.

All six bodies all posess a unique technique, one being able to control gravitational repulses, another who can summon, one who absorbs any kind of physical attack or Ninjutsu, and others who died before anyone could find out what they could do.

Yahiko, the main Pain, destroys Konaha with one from his technique "Shinra Tensai" which blows away everything because he is able to control gravitational repulses. That's pretty much all I can say about them because there is too much to remember.
